  1. Loving the episodes lately, chummers. You guys have really found your stride and I find myself looking forward to the Arcology Podcast weekly. First time posting, long time lurker.

If you ever need another for the play by post game, Vox, I’d be very interested. I’ve been at the helm of a non shadowrun based writing project much like a pbp for over 10 years now and am highly interested in getting involved in one with some talented, mature players.

    1. Thank you very much! And thanks for the offer – I do have a very good group of talented and mature players. The GM, on the other hand, I’m not so sure about her. 😉 I’m having enough trouble trying to avoid embarrassing myself with this group for now. 🙂 We’ll see how it develops.

  2. Great show, first one I’ve listened too, now I’ll just have to listen to more. And by the by, the “Elvis” character I mentioned on Critical Glitch was an Ork named King I wrote for Street Legends: Home Brew a couple of years ago. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to hear the next episode.

    1. Thank you! That “Elvis” character you described in the Critical Glitch episode absolutely cracked me up – I had to mention it. 🙂 Thanks for listening!

  3. Pistols with BF listed as a fire mode can also fire 6 round bursts like everything else that is BF capable but those attacks take a Complex Action – which doesn’t change much in the current rules however it does mean you can’t aim or do any non-combat Simple Action if you fire a long burst or whatever whereas you could if you used a Smartgun or whatever. The Guardian (for example) is still a sweet gun :o)

  4. Also, under the new modification rules in Run & Gun, you can mount a Suppressor or Silencer and have Gas Vent (or other barrel mods, when/if they show up). I house rule this always, as each Edition has this massive oversight until the gun book comes out, but it’s definitely included in Run & Gun.

  5. 1: good episode, I enjoyed myself as always.

2: I knew there was a reason I wasn’t watching Almost Human. I also tend to avoid Fox. 😛

    1. Thank you! And about Fox… yes, it’s unfortunate. A friend of ours suggested we may enjoy a show that’s coming up soon. Then he mentioned it was going to be on Fox – we basically said “no thanks,” wanting to avoid Fox’s sudden but inevitable betrayal.

  6. Almost Human just premiered here in the UK…. I’m hesitant to watch but it looks so cool. Maybe we’ll so a ‘C4/B5’ thing…..

    1. As long as you go in knowing it’ll probably get cut short, I don’t see the harm in enjoying a good show. Heck, I’ll certainly watch it when I can. At least their stories they got out into the world won’t be wasted.

  7. …. I am a leaf on the wind….cry

Of all the shows that were great and got cancelled Firefly was one of the best!

Another great show… I am going to be shopping for a mono chain saw 🙂

    1. Ahh, Firefly. It’s more or less the source of our Fox-rage (they certainly got us started with the cancellation of The Lone Gunmen, though).
I’ll go out on a limb and guess that the mono chain saw has something to do with Almost Human?? I don’t recall one in Firefly… Maybe it’s more connected to Fox-rage? 🙂
