I remember back in the summer of 2015 getting my first taste of Shadowrun and deciding I would GM it. I stayed up until 2 or 3 in morning for a few nights in a row while completing my masters reading the core rulebook and then switched over to binging this actual play to help me understand how SR runs. I have had a few failed campaigns since but I continue to listen faithfully. There is something special about the character-based story telling in this podcast and the incredible memory you guys have for the details of the story (i.e. remembering what all was included in the Mines of Shandor vs just outside). I hope that that continues in the next season!!
I am excited that there will be a more street level focus for next season as the high power runs can start feeling a little like an action movie. Hopefully by being more street level we get more relatable stories like the Kid’s business or Kit and the Kid’s living room talks with the Kid’s mama.
Either way, I am looking forward to another 5 years of the Arcology!
I just wanted to say thank you for all the good years of listening! Back in the day I would sit up on my balcony into the small hours just listening to you guys play. This podcast helped me get through some dark times in my life. The podcast also saw me into a lot better times.
