  1. Need another player? lol I am a CJ major btw with aspirations to become an officer.

  2. So, a bunch of misfits and troublemakers assigned on a large gang case? You could have a parallel campaign from the gangers’ perspective and you’d basically get “The Wire” season 1!

    1. We haven’t watched it yet, but I’ve heard it’s excellent. Maybe we’ll have to dig in. ๐Ÿ™‚

      1. You really should! It’s not only excellent, it’s – different -. I’ll refrain from ranting on how great it is as a show, but I will say that it’s very relevant to your campaign. The authors used to be a journalist and a cop and the show has the most nuanced, in depth view of the politics and rot within the Police (and, in the following seasons, many other organizations). The first episodes deal with a cocky young detective who skips the chain of command to follow a case he feels it’s much bigger than it looks: a task force is hence cobbled together with misfits, leftovers, useless slackers to please the judge and follow a case no one really gives a drek about. Sounds familiar? ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Great stuff. Love the theme song, and also Haze’s humor. Just cracks me up. Can’t wait for future episodes.

  4. Love the concept.
I’d suggest that ypu all take the time, if you haven’t watched it already, to watch s1;e1 of The Shield. It’s my go to anti-gang tact team.
I can’t wait to listen to more.

PS: I can mail you the first four seasons if you’re interested and can’t find it on Netflix.

  5. Well, with characters like these is it any surprise that Lone Star lost the Seattle contract? They’re already more corrupt than the criminals!

  6. Habitually late to the party, so this is probably whispering in the wind.
I started with your regular episodes a week or so ago and thouroughly loved the interviews and content. I just happened to click on the “Lonestar” tab out of curiousity. Holy Slotting Drek! I have been craving a Law Enforcement narrative 6th world style, and yall set it in my hometown? This Texpat is truly enthralled. So much so I became a patron. Thanx so much for all yall do.

    1. That’s awesome – thank you! We’re often late to the party too, but we still hear you. ๐Ÿ™‚
