  1. Just a quick question about a comment made by Mr. Johnson during story time. Harlequin, is he the Smiling Bandit on Jackpoint/Shadowland? I thought Harlequin was The Laughing Man, and the Smiling Bandit was a crazy biotech scientist.

      1. Awesome, totally thought I was remembering that wrong. In my current campaign, had the Smiling Bandit make a small cameo on a news article about the team’s exploits, just for a nod to my lore fan players, and did not intend on bringing in Harlequin. Dang super elf! 🙂

  2. Thanks for the hints, and especially the Critter Corner. It adds the necessary oomph to a run which my runners are currently struggling to survive. As if a toxic shaman and provoked yaks aren’t enough. 🙂

  3. Hi guys,

Love the show btw. Thought I would chip in on the Shadowrun Online issue. While I agree that there may be too much negativity surrounding the game, it IS understandable. The game was MEANT to be much farther along by now than it is, but for one reason or another production has slipped way behind expectations. A lot of people who kickstarted this are understandably, a litte… miffed.
I personally see it this way, if faults/bugs don’t get picked up and highlighted by the community who are effectively unpaid beta testers, the wont get fixed. So while there are those detractors who howl uselessly at the moon, it is unfair to tar those who have legitimate concerns with the same brush.

Anyway chummers thats enough rambling from me.
Stay safe and stick to the shadows.

    1. Understandable. We didn’t mean to lump all the detractors together. Casual conversations can get…. well, casual sometimes. But we can certainly understand the frustration! Thanks for the kudos and thanks for sharing!

    2. As a backer of Shadowrun Online I can say wholeheartedly that I am ….disappointed. The game that was promised does not appear to be the game that is in development. That is not even considering the host of issues and delays Cliffhanger has run into on top of that. I understand financial issues may be a factor but you should not make promises you do not have the ability to follow through with. There has been issues with the books advertised to contain promotional codes not having them as well. I am still waiting to hear back from customer support from a year ago concerning a code I did not receive. All in all a shameful situation for the intellectual property and the nearly 200 dollars I spent on the project. This is my personal opinion on the matter so take it with a grain of salt.
