1. Wow. Talk about a generous DM. A bomb goes off in the PC’s hands and he lives to talk about it? Man, an old old school D&D DM would have snuffed the PC right there – after he laughed his ass off like a megalomaniac. A mere old school DM would have maimed the PC and stripped him of every weapon, cyber, armor, and a few attributes AFTER insisting the PC burn Edge and Karma for the privilege of surviving and ladled on a psychosis or two. I myself wouldn’t be quite so harsh but for the sake of realism I might have snuffed the PC and heaped on karma for the player’s next character if he took it like a man.
